Parents need to be at the Scout House at 7:45 PM for the next Monday Troop 784 meeting on 21 May. This is a great opportunity to learn about new events from our new Santa Margarita District Leader, Kent Lee.

The BSA SDIC International Camporee at Mataguay Scout Ranch (MSR near Julian) is 18-20 May 2012. This is a great event which usually has many BSA troops from Mexico and Canada along with a few surprises from around the world.

Trailblazer Shooting Sports Day at Mataguay Scout Ranch (MSR) will be Saturday, 9 June 2012. For only $15.00, Boy Scouts, Venturers and Varsity Scouts can shoot .22 rifles, shotguns (12GA and 20 GA), muzzleloaders, and center fire high power rifles ALL DAY as well as get camping overnight and lunch included. BSA Medical forms are required to be updated ANNUALLY for all scouts and adults leaders. The troop keeps these on hand for every event in case of an emergency during outings. We update these in the Spring to prepare for summer camp - but please understand that this is NOT just for scouts attending camp - it is for ALL scouts.
